The history of the winery Ladislava Langra:

V 50. years, Mr. Ladislav Langr chosen profession in the agricultural field and 20 he worked in the Moravian wine competitions in Mikulov. His own wine produced in its first fifteen years, then he began to deal with the production of wine, following a long family tradition. In 1985 reconstructed the family wine cellar, whose foundation dates back to the year 1867.

The actual current family winery was founded in 1995, Langrových when the family began to invest in vineyards. Nowadays, the area of ​​its own vineyards around 5 ha and in addition to its own production is processed to produce wines and produce from growers from the neighborhood. White wines produced Langer only ingredients from the village of Lower Věstonice. The aim is to introduce customers had unique tastes fresh young white wines based on the specific limestone bedrock local vineyards. Wines are processed in our own basement in Lower Věstonice and mature in the historic cellar after parents. The first year of bottling winery was 2001 and brought a qualitative leap year 2008, Ladislav Langr when for the first time in bottles, wine vintage 2007 to mobile bottling line from Austria.

Production is carried out using traditional methods without controlled fermentation using natural yeast, Only with the help of modern fining agents. The wines are aged in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels and acacia. Family Winery specializes in wines of smaller parts numbering around 3000 when 3500 bottle.

As a result, we can offer high quality wine from their own production – quality, varietal, attributive, archival, but also sparkling wines, and an annual production volume of about 15000 bottle.

The main varieties grown are Neuburger, Sauvignon, Pálava, Riesling, Gruner Veltliner, Müller Thurgau, Frankovka, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigeltrebe, Zweigeltrebe rose. Lower Věstonie typical variety is Riesling.

In the wine cellar are organized excursion with wine tasting and expert commentary associated with purchase of selected wines. Smaller groups interested can arrange a guided wine tasting in the cellar, larger groups provides facilities tavern U Langer away 150 meters from the basement.
