Restaurant Podkova can be found in Olomouc under Hanácký Hill in Koželužská Street in one of the most attractive parts of the city, just minutes from the historic center and a few steps from the city's landmark - St. Wenceslas Cathedral.

Just a little imagination and you move in time about 200 years back, when the building with a unique floor plan in the shape of a broken horseshoe was incorporated into the system of Olomouc fortifications. The whole object, as well as most of the surrounding houses, used by the army and the current restaurant was originally a bakery. The unique interior resembles a castle.
